Tour de Coops + Tofupup Potluck

3 - 30 minute coop tours of 3 very different backyard, homemade, chicken coops. Plus meet back at first coop and do a impromptu skillshare on how to use a fancy store bought *rocket stove and my tin can homemade one. I will provide hotdogs, tofupups (vegan hotdogs) buns and tea. You provide whatever else you want for lunch besides 'dogs 'pups & tea.

Itinerary:

ARRIVE  10:00 am - 1st coop - who's coop? Our coop! 43rd/N. Shepherd area. Figure out carpooling for other two coops then
DEPART 10:30 am

ARRIVE  11:00 am - 2nd coop - who's coop? Rochelle's coop. I10/Silber - near the IKEA
DEPART 11:30 am

ARRIVE  12:00 pm - 3rd coop - who's coop? Jim & Eileen's coop. I10/Waco - Japhet Creek Community
DEPART 12:30 pm

ARRIVE 1:00 pm - back at 1st coop to play with food and fire.

EXTRA: 1 mile away from 1st coop is the Reuse Warehouse. **Eligible Transition Houston members can get coop building material (and other scrap-happy stuff) without charge for their Transition projects. Transition US has their 501c3 on file. Consider donating your reusable building material to the Reuse Warehouse as well.
