Garden Gonzales 2014

We were so fortunate, thanks to my brother Charlie, Mark Juedeman and all the other GREAT folks, to get involved with Transition Houston in 2009. At the first meeting, a drawing was held and the lucky winner would host the first Permablitz in Houston. Charles won, but at the time, could not take on the project. So... he went in search of another to host it. After checking with his church and I then offered the option to the University of Houston Downtown who was just starting up a community garden, alas, neither were able to host.

Long and short, we decided to start our first garden and get involved with the Transition movement.
