The film introduces the varied people who save seeds and stand at the source of humanity's diverse food heritage. This is a David and Goliath story where resilience and persuasive logic triumph over seemingly invincible giant corporations.

Transition Old Sixth Ward Film Series presents In Transition 1.0

Share food, watch movies, and chat with your neighbors!  Transition Old Sixth Ward will be showing films on the topics of alternative energy sources that can help relieve our dependence on fossil fuels, actions that you and your family can take to shrink your carbon footprint, and the Transition Movement.

We'll start each evening with "pot luck" snacks and hanging out with neighbors, and conclude with discussion.
